The "Waterside" Shepherd Hut

Set in a corner, close to the Shropshire union canal, this pretty hut gives and experience of  narrowboat life (without the hard work). A large enclosed terrace accessed by easy shallow steps from the private parking area offer a sunny place to enjoy the small charcoal BBQ for those evening suppers whilst watching the boats and taking in the atmosphere. A further covered seating area leads you through the door inside, to where a surprisingly spacious room with twin beds, a seating area, tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave for those quick meals awaits you. Electric heating, lamps cushions and books add to the cosy ambience.

Pods - The Randolph and the Joyce

​

The Randolph is named after Randolph Caldicott the famous illustrator and artist who lived and worked for a time in Whitchurch. The Joyce so named after the world famous clockmaker and restorers, also from Whitchurch, offer our camping guests a warm and comfortable glamping experience, whilst not losing the essence of a camping holiday. Both pods are identical in size and sit side-by-side facing the fun with views of the fishing pool and green fields. They offer good value for money with comfortable double beds, electric heater, lighting, tea and coffee making facilities, small patio with table and chairs, a little charcoal BBQ and parking alongside. 

Arrangements for a special occasion, engagement, birthday, anniversary can be made with our booking department and bedding (no towels) can be provided at £10 per night. The close proximity to the modern underfloor heated shower block, laundry and dishwashing room which also houses a small library makes for a comfortable holiday.
